Of course, we should find a solution for it, so here we are, KMEB Internet Radio Station, with a mission to empower young and talented artists that don’t make it to the mainstream. Well, it’s up to you guys what you call it but despite all the development and advancements, there are still some areas where men rule and women struggle to find their rights, and the music industry is one of them. Some mainstream singers, and of course not all, don’t let new artists get the hype they deserve, especially females. Not only singers, but the producers are also a major issue too. This stat might help you understand what we’re trying to say. According to Statista, the United Nations music shares for 2018 were 97.7% dominated by men and 2.3% by women. The proportion of women in the music industry has increased approximately 5% in 2021 as compared to that in 2016, which is good progress indeed.
