Baraz is the first child of her Russian parents, born and grew up in the United States. Her debut studio album “It Was Divine” was released in April 2022. Primarily working with Galimatias and Khalid, Alina’s genre is R&B, and she has also signed with labels Mom + Pop and Ultra. Alina’s Musical Journey
We can put it together like she was born to be a singer as her parents raised her on classical music. The passion started to grow as she developed an interest in 90s music. She started professional singing when she was as young as 19 years old. For this purpose, she left her hometown and shifted to Los Angeles, California. Baraz was inspired by famous artists such as Adele, Corinne Bailey, Amy Winehouse, and others. Not only singing, but Baraz also developed a passion for songwriting. Her first song was released on April 15, 2013, titled “Roses Dipped in Gold.” This was a part of the collection series “Lounge Masters Vibes”.
Alina’s Thought-Provoking Work
Alina’s work often revolves around the sensitive yet essential topics of love, care, self-love, life and others. While talking about her debut album, “It Was Divine,” Baraz said it is more about losing love and self and finding it again. She also added that it was more like a shift in her perspective, and it helped her learn more about how to care about herself. We should learn to let love in and let it go when needed, says Baraz in her interview.

We met Baraz in San Francisco for the first time. In our first interaction, we knew that she was going to be one of the most popular music sensations on KMEB Internet Radio. We approached Alina after one of her shows in the city and told her that we wanted to take her up as our first artist.
And she was sweet enough to agree to it at once. Baraz further added that she loved the idea and would love to be featured as our very first artist. She was very kind-hearted and as soft as her music. We are definitely very excited to work with the talented singer.
